Main - Beef Short-Rib, Pomme Duchess & Carrot Puree
Beef Short Rib - Main Our beef short rib is a truly delicious dish that will impress your guests. You will braise the beef in a rich flavourful liquor, which is our favourite way to cook this cut of meat to really enhance the deep flavour. Whilst the beef is slowly cooking, you will prepare our nutty and delicate Pomme Duchesse and carrot puree. Once the beef is cooked, you will use the braising liquor to create a decadently flavoured beef gravy which finishes off the dish.
Although the cooking of the beef is a long process, this will allow you to prepare all of the other elements which means it’s just a case of pulling it all together when your guests arrive. Don’t worry, we’ll help you every step of the way, we’ve got the timings and processes covered so that each element is cooked perfectly and served hot!
Approx. 3 hours
The short ribs need to cook for approx. 2 hours and then the sauce needs to reduce for a further 45 minutes – 1 hour, so we recommend getting this task underway in the morning, or at least 3 hours ahead of hosting.
