Born out of love for good food and hosting friends and family, at The Host’s Pantry we set out to offer a service that allows anyone, whether they’re an experienced home cook or not, to feel like they can host a wonderful meal at home.
Some of our best memories have been created around our dining table and we thought this was a good opportunity to introduce you to some of the people who often sit around it!
The creative brain behind the business and self-appointed sous chef to Scott. Jess loves nothing more than to host friends and family at home; creating a beautiful setting and warm ambience is one of her favourite things to do. For Jess, when it comes to hosting, the food (and wine) are important but for her, it’s all about the memories made around the table.
The other half of the dynamic duo who founded The Host’s Pantry, Scott is Mr Serious in the office but Captain Chaos outside of it! His passion for food is second to none and if he’s not reading about food, wine and restaurants, you’ll find him in the kitchen cooking up something delicious. Scott has always been an advocate for the power food has to bring people together and this reflects the ethos behind everything we do here at The Host’s Pantry.
Chief recipe tester and the mediator between the (often) differing opinions of Jess and Scott, Michelle is the balance within the team. Most ‘back of house’ tasks fall to Michelle, and we love that she is painfully literal, which comes in handy for checking our Hosting Guides are foolproof!
Daniel works closely with Scott on the creation of our recipes. Daniel lives in London with his family, and they are all big foodie's. In fact, he often gets his children to help with recipe testing and they can be our biggest fans or our harshest critics!
The maker of all of our incredible jams and jellies, Granny Evelyn is integral to the team as she is the holder of our most secret recipes! Tiny but mighty, she is a force to be reckoned with.
We believe that the people behind the brand make it what it is, and all the people behind ours are incredibly important. Here at The Host’s Pantry, we want you to feel confident hosting people in your home, and we can’t wait to see the dishes you create, and hope (more than anything) that you create some wonderful memories.
