Our lamb shank curry is a rich and indulgent Indian spiced curry that will impress your guests and has become a household favourite for Scott and Jess. Our succulent Shropshire lamb shanks battle with the decadent curry sauce to steal the show in this dish. The lamb is cooked low and slow in the fragrant sauce until tender and falling off the bone. Served with a fragrant basmati rice coloured with saffron this is a show stopping meal – and once you’ve cooked your rice this way, there’s no going back.

The Lamb Shank Curry takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare and 2 hours to cook. Once cooked, the sauce needs to reduce for approximately 45-90 minutes. We recommend cooking this curry in the morning, thus giving you plenty of time ahead of your guests arriving. The good news is that most of the work for this dish is done at this point.
