This three-course recipe box offers you the perfect Valentine’s menu for you and your loved one.

To start you will enjoy our delicate glazed beetroot and goat’s cheese starter, followed by a delicious artichoke filo pie served with a colourful array of chantenay carrots and cavolo nero. As for dessert, we’ve given you a helping hand and you will enjoy a luxurious pre-made (and handmade) citron tart drizzled with Longley Farm cream – this dessert requires no preparation, after all you have cooked two courses from scratch, but if you’re quick enough to hide the packaging you could pass this off as your own, we won’t tell if you don’t!

Glazed Beetroot, Goats Cheese and Candied Walnuts:

Our Glazed Beetroot is simply irresistible. A zesty, thyme and balsamic glaze enriches the deep earthy flavours of beetroot. The whipped goat’s cheese adds a tangy, creamy richness to the dish, with the sweet, crunchy walnuts adding the perfect texture to start your romantic meal.

Artichoke Filo Pie:

Our Artichoke Filo pies are an impressive dish that you can prepare ahead of time, baking when your Valentine arrives so you can spend quality time with them.

The artichoke adds a mild nutty flavour to the crisp filo pies, this paired with the robust spinach, sun blush tomatoes and creamy ricotta create a perfectly flavoured, light pie.

Pre-Made Citron Tart served with Longley Farm Single Cream:

Our pre-made citron tart is sourced from Gill’s Puddings in Market Drayton in the heart of the Shropshire Countryside. The creamy citron filling is a delicate and refreshing end to your meal, we'll also supply you with Longley Farm single cream to drizzle over the top. All of Gill’s puddings are handmade and if you’re quick enough to hide the packaging, you could always pull this off as your own. We won’ tell if you don’t! This pre-made dessert offers you all the luxury without any of the work.

Beetroot starter:
• Baking tray
• Sharp knife
• 2 forks
• Kitchen foil/parchment paper
• 3 mixing bowls
• Frying pan
• Piping bag
• Serving plate

Artichoke Filo Pie main:
• 2 individual pastry tins/large Yorkshire pudding tin (with 4 pudding wells)
• Pastry brush
• Mixing bowl
• Saucepan
• Fine grater
• Balloon whisk
• Sharp knife
• 2 bowls
• Frying pan with lid

These are staple kitchen cupboard ingredients that we do not include in the box.
• Olive oil
• Sea salt flakes
• Salt and pepper
• Nutmeg

Prep time (starter and main) = 50 minutes (1 hour cooking time)
Serve time = 10 minutes (starter) 1 hour 15 minutes (main, includes cooking time)
