Brisbourne Free Range Bronze Turkey

Since 1999, Brisbourne Farm in Shropshire have raised traditional Bronze turkeys. Hatched in early July, these slow-growing birds mature naturally for a richer, old-fashioned flavour far beyond that of commercial turkeys.

They roam freely on grass paddocks by day and are brought into fresh straw bedding each night for safety, with plenty of natural light and fresh air. Their diet is simple and wholesome— Farm-Assured wheat and a specially prepared corn ration, with no growth promoters or additives.

In December, every turkey is traditionally dry-plucked, then hung for 7–10 days to deepen flavour and tenderness. Each bird is finished by hand and prepared oven-ready, with vacuum-packed giblets and cooking instructions, all boxed for easy collection.
