Recycling Guidance
We’re committed to reducing waste wherever possible and carefully select packaging that can be reused, recycled or
composted.
Below you’ll find guidance on how to dispose of each part of your delivery box responsibly.
Cardboard boxes
Our outer boxes are fully recyclable and can be placed in your household cardboard recycling.
We encourage customers to reuse boxes where possible before recycling.
Paper Packaging & Liners
Any paper liners, sleeves or padding included in your order can be recycled with household paper recycling.
Please keep paper packaging dry for best recycling results.
Wool Insulation
Depending on your order, your box may include wool insulated packaging to help keep produce chilled in transit.
Our wool liners are biodegradable and compostable. They can also be reused around the home or garden.
Ice Packs
Please do not place ice packs directly into household recycling.
Allow the contents to defrost
Cut open the pack
Empty the liquid into the sink
Dispose of the outer plastic according to your local recycling guidance
Where possible, we encourage customers to reuse ice packs.
Food Waste
Unless stated otherwise, produce is best enjoyed within 4 days of delivery and is generally suitable for freezing.
Any unavoidable food waste can often be composted at home.
